Short Bio on Ken Bishop
Ken Bishop has performed thousands of shows over his decades of children’s entertainment. The venues are as varied as his puppet characters. He was the owner of a puppet company called the Kenuppets (now Friends Forever Puppets) and he performed sixteen shows a week for five consecutive years from his castle at West Edmonton Mall.  Ken also starred on Storytime , a Saturday morning kids program, which aired across Canada on the CTV network (and in multiple countries) for over five years.  He has had the pleasure of working with many celebrities and singers during his career.  All of his puppets are original and at one time he owned over 350 characters. Ken has written over 100 scripts for television as well as a variety of music videos.  He has taught puppetry, character development, and script writing to both adults and students in classrooms and auditorium settings.  Ken has performed in countless schools, jamborees, festivals and community functions with his creative puppetry.  Believing that "laughter is the best medicine", his puppets never fail to bring a smile to every face.

The performances are usually in the style of a variety show with lively contemporary songs and fast action skits and dialogue.  This works well, especially during a festival where the audience is moving about or coming midway through a presentation.  In this way people will not miss a "storyline" and can enjoy the performance at any point.  These interactive shows are designed to fit the venue with the intended audience or theme in mind.  Within the multitude of characters is Reggi, the emcee of the show. Some of the favourites are Vulture the nervous vulture, Boardie the magical and amazing whiteboard, Albert the human-hand puppet, and a number of dummy mask characters that require a volunteer, which is hilarious!

Friends Forever Puppets will put on a show that will not be forgotten.

Understand that the words that I write come from my heart with my sincere thanks for your efforts in making that day in Caledonia the most memorable ever.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your professionalism and friendliness during our Canada Day Celebration in Kinsmen Park.

The committee members are all actively working to improve on what can be done to make our “family friendly free fun day” even more enjoyable year after year. Also, I send my thanks for your ability to put smiles on the faces of children and adults alike for the many thousands of people and families who shared in the Canada Day Celebrations in Caledonia.

Your Master of Ceremonies ability in the Children’s Entertainment area, making the transitions from one entertainer to the next, throughout a busy schedule was appreciated. It was a seamless and worry free endeavor from my designation with your attention to detail and professionalism.

My heartfelt thanks to you and I look forward to working with you again!"
